Ecosystem Builder in Innovation Award
The Ecosystem Builder in Innovation Award honours an individual, organization, or initiative that has played a critical role in growing and supporting Manitoba’s innovation ecosystem. This award recognizes those who mentor, connect, advocate, or build programs and infrastructure that empower others to innovate.
Award Eligibility
To be eligible for the Ecosystem Builder in Innovation Award, the nominee must:
Be a leader, mentor, organization, or initiative with a strong presence in Manitoba.
Demonstrate a sustained commitment to supporting and growing the province’s innovation ecosystem.
Provide evidence of mentorship, community-building, or ecosystem-wide collaboration.
Have agreed to be nominated.
Judging Criteria
Judges for the Ecosystem Builder in Innovation Award will evaluate nominees based on the following:
Impact on Manitoba’s innovation ecosystem through mentorship, programs, or partnerships.
Evidence of fostering collaboration and supporting diverse innovators.
Long-term contributions to Manitoba’s growth and competitiveness.
Commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in innovation.
Nomination Requirements

Compelling Summary (max 650 characters) highlighting the nominee’s innovation and impact.

Detailed Nomination (max 3,000 characters) outlining achievements, significance, and measurable outcomes.

High resolution photo of the nominee or team.

Confirmation that the nominee has agreed to participate and understands that, if shortlisted, they will take part in a professional video profile.
