Frequently Asked Questions
For the purpose of the DARE Innovation Awards presented by Bell MTS, innovation is defined as:
A novel idea, approach, product, service, technology, or method that creates measurable value and drives positive change.
Innovation can take many forms, whether it’s solving complex problems, transforming industries, improving lives, advancing equity, or creating new opportunities within Manitoba. It is not limited to high-tech or digital spaces; innovation may be technical, social, creative, cultural, or process-based, as long as it demonstrates:
Originality or a new way of thinking
Impact on a community, sector, or audience
Scalability or potential for lasting benefit
We recognize that innovation often emerges from collaboration, lived experience, and bold experimentation. DARE celebrates those who take risks and push boundaries, no matter the field.
