The DARE Innovation Awards presented by Bell MTS are the inaugural awards and the first of their kind in Manitoba, celebrating the province’s boldest Dreamers, Achievers, Risk-takers, and Entrepreneurs. With 10 distinct award categories, they recognize innovators across industries who are reshaping the future through creativity, technology, and leadership.
The DARE Innovation Awards are proudly hosted by North Forge and are part of Tech Manitoba’s Manitoba Tech Week, a collaborative effort to spotlight and strengthen innovation across the province.
The awards are presented by Bell MTS , hosted by North Forge in partnership with and in collaboration with Tech Manitoba.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada in Winnipeg. Doors open at 5:00 PM.
Guests are asked to wear professional attire such as suits, blazers, dress pants, skirts, or dresses. Collared shirts, blouses, and dress shoes are appropriate. Dress to DARE.
Parking at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada is available at a flat rate and is guest expense. We suggest carpooling where possible.
The main lot adjacent to the museum accommodates approximately 70 vehicles. For the easiest access, follow airport signage toward Departures (as if you are dropping someone off), then continue around the loop back down. The museum and main parking lot will be on your right-hand side.
Once the main lot is full, signage will direct you to the next closest lot — please follow signs to Economy Parking.
We will be running a self-service coat check.
Please refrain from leaving valuables in this area and use it at your own discretion.
Instead of individual tickets, you will be emailed a table number. Upon arrival to the event, please check in at the registration desk with your name and/or organization name. A staff member will remind you of your table number at this time.
Table wine will be provided, courtesy of Ellement Wine + Spirits.
Additional beverages will be available at a cashless bar (debit/credit card only).
Non-alcoholic beverages beyond water, coffee, and tea are available at the bar, complimentary.
Yes. The Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada is fully accessible, with wheelchair access, accessible washrooms, and seating accommodations. A drop-off/pick-up loop is located directly outside the main entrance.
Accessible parking is available in the main lot near our group entrance. Complimentary motorized scooters and wheelchairs are available. If you require additional support, please contact us in advance so we can ensure a welcoming experience.
Yes! Tickets will be available to the public. The event is open to all, founders, funders, researchers, students, creatives, and supporters.
Yes. The DARE Innovation Awards are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. Supports may include ASL interpretation, real-time captioning, a quiet room, visual schedules, and reserved seating.
