The Innovation in Industry Award recognizes a company or organization that has revolutionized a traditional sector, such as manufacturing, agriculture, construction, or energy, through bold and original innovation. This award spotlights those applying technology, new methods, or sustainable practices to solve industry-specific challenges and reshape legacy systems.
Award Eligibility
To be eligible for the Innovation in Industry Award, the nominee must:
Be a company or organization headquartered in Manitoba or maintaining a significant operational presence in the province.
Operate within a traditional sector such as manufacturing, agriculture, energy, transportation, or similar industries.
Demonstrate innovation that has transformed practices, increased efficiency, or created measurable value within the sector.
Judging Criteria
Judges for the Innovation in Industry Award will evaluate nominees based on the following:
Originality and significance of the innovation within a traditional sector.
Demonstrated outcomes such as efficiency, sustainability, or competitiveness.
Potential for industry-wide adoption or broader impact.
Positive contributions to Manitoba’s economy and workforce.
