The Lights, Camera, Innovation Award celebrates bold innovation in film, digital media, storytelling, and creative technology. This award recognizes individuals or teams using digital tools, platforms, or creative methods to elevate Manitoba’s media and content landscape.
Award Eligibility
To be eligible for the Lights, Camera, Innovation Award, the nominee must:
Be an individual, team, or organization based in Manitoba or with substantial creative activity in the province.
Work in film, digital media, or storytelling that demonstrates the use of innovation or technology.
Showcase creative impact that elevates Manitoba’s media and cultural landscape.
Have agreed to be nominated.
Judging Criteria
Judges for the Lights, Camera, Innovation Award will evaluate nominees based on the following:
Originality and creativity in storytelling or media production.
Innovative use of technology, platforms, or formats.
Demonstrated impact on audiences, communities, or Manitoba’s cultural sector.
Potential for growth, reach, or influence beyond Manitoba.

Nomination Requirements

Compelling Summary (max 650 characters) highlighting the nominee’s innovation and impact.

Detailed Nomination (max 3,000 characters) outlining achievements, significance, and measurable outcomes.

High resolution photo of the nominee or team.

Confirmation that the nominee has agreed to participate and understands that, if shortlisted, they will take part in a professional video profile.
